This message is to share important information as we look ahead to the Spring Sports season. Please see below for important details about participating this spring.

In order to be registered and cleared to participate in Spring Sports, please complete the following steps:

1. Complete this Google Form (new for Spring Sports). Please check for typos to avoid any delay in receiving communications: https://forms.gle/5A8vWgTDKc3L7vMf8
2. Physical Packets must be completed and returned to school before being cleared to practice and compete. Students can pick up hard copies here at school, or download/print from this link. Packets can be returned to the nurse’s office at the middle school, or scanned and emailed to Mrs. Zalcman at MZalcman@colonialsd.org . If any parts of your Physical Packet are incomplete, Mrs. Zalcman will be in contact with you about the missing pieces.
3. ***If your student played a Fall and/or Winter sport, they will only need to have the “Section 8” form completed and returned. The form can be downloaded at this link, or picked up in the main office. Section 8 Forms should be returned to Ms. Zalcman, as well.
4. In addition to completing the physical paperwork, students also need to complete IMPACT testing (concussion baseline). To complete the test, students use this link . Please use code 76CJV2ZSTC to access our test. The code needs to be typed in directly (copy and paste will not work). Students do not need to have their results emailed to us when they finish the assessment. If your student played a fall sport, this step does not need be completed again.
5. ***Please be reminded that CMS sports are not using PowerSchool to collect PIAA Paperwork. Please send in all hard copies to the nurse’s office or email to Ms. Zalcman.

-The following spring sports are offered here at CMS: 7^th and 8^th Grade Softball, 7^th and 8^th Grade Baseball, Co-Ed Track and Field, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Boys Tennis

-Game schedules are live and readily available at www.CMSPatriots.org

-Practices/Tryouts will begin on Tuesday, March 15^th

-As we prepare for demolition on the current CMS building, our plan for practice/game facilities will be similar to our Fall and Spring 2021 seasons. Additional details for practice and game locations will be shared shortly.
